Randall
Barnes practices in the
areas of worker's compensation, personal injury, criminal defense,
business litigation, real estate, and family law. He has worked as
an attorney in Jefferson City for 18 years helping of
clients through difficult legal situations. Randy is a 1991 graduate of the University of
Missouri-Kansas City Law School.
Jay
Barnes practices in the areas of worker's
compensation, personal injury, criminal defense, business
litigation, real estate, family law, estate planning, and
probate. He is a graduate of the University of
Missouri-Columbia School of Law, where he won the Ike Skelton Award
for earning the best score in his his class in Trial Practice.
Before joining Barnes & Associates, Jay worked in journalism and
politics. Immediately upon graduating from law school, he went to
work as the Washington correspondent for Newsmax magazine and www.newsmax.com. He next
worked as General Counsel to Missouri Senate President Pro Tem
Michael Gibbons. From June 2007 to July 2008, he worked as
policy counsel and chief speechwriter for Missouri Governor Matt
Blunt. He then joined the gubernatorial campaign of Kenny Hulshof,
working as the campaign's policy director. Hulshof was dubbed "Mr.
New Idea" by the Associated Press. Jay also owns www.ILikeMOHomes.com , an
alternative real estate services company in Jefferson City,
Missouri.
